Rated 5 Stars (out of 5) - Excelent!!! My notebook keyboard was missing END key (was available only on the numeric keypad - which I need it a lot) and with SharpKeys I was able to remap INSERT key (rarely used) with END key so it saved me to switch on/off the numeric keyboard every few seconds.
And is working on Windows 8.1 x64!

I had a broken 'p' key that i had t press just perfectly to type anything. being able to assign the '[' key next to it with 'p', without any hassle has made typing so much easier. I even signed up with this site just to review this program so others will use it. five out of five stars!

I have this problem as well. I want to remap my FN-Function keys to be something useful, eg pageup/pagedown. However, all of the un-shifted (I mean without pressing FN) FN keys give me unrecognized key code 00_100. Additionally, the key pops up its hard-coded trigger, eg volume bar.
I am a dev but I don't know much about where to start on this.

I was trying to test out my new key maps, so as always I restarted my computer. When I tried to log in I input my password and it didn't work. I realized my password contained the new key mappings. I tried to use the opposite key (to which the original letter was mapped to) and that did not work either. I am using a windows 7 computer running on bootcamp on a MacBook Pro. Is there any way to restore the key mappings or disable sharp keys without being able to actually log in to the computer?

Try to log on from another computer using Remote Desktop, then run SharpKeys remotely and delete your keyboard mappings. Cheers.

Unfortunately I have this problem as well, the keyboard is otherwise fairly good, however there are many applications that need an escape key while this keyboard will always launch the browser instead. It's worth noting that I don't get any keycode for the function key on this keyboard, however I do get the _100 code for the browser button.

I think my Lenovo keyboard is messed up, every time I open up the system, come back from sleep or even close the screen lid (it's a laptop) this "key" E0_4049 keeps pressing itself and it behaves as if I'm pressing Page Up constantly, nothing is being pressed on the keyboard. If I press ANY key on the key board the problem disappears. That's the only way to fix this, in any OS.
I want to disable this key in Windows for good, problem is that this key presses itself even in BIOS/UEFI so it's most likely a hardware problem or maybe something went wrong during update UEFI update last year.
Either way I would like to save some cash because that keyboard is going for around $50 which is a lot considering it's from 2012.
SharpKeys couldn't register the key for Disabling, but shows it after going back from sleep when the Type Key window is opened.
Please, someone help me out or I will go crazy :( It's a really annoying little bug.

Like the original author of Sharpkeys, I keep accidently hitting the window snap/resize button next to the 'X' at the top-right of the keyboard. This occurs on my tablet on-screen keyboard.
Can Sharpkeys help with that?

Hello world! Would love to use my apple wired keyboard on my windows 7 machine but some keys do not work. Specifically, the esc, tab, caps lock and probably a few others do not map or register at all when using SharpKeys.
I did install bootcamp drivers and I'm typing on the apple keyboard as this is typed.
I've tried searching google for a way to identify the apple keyboard hex code but was wondering if there is a mapping sheet to show which keys match a hex code so I can try to manually map the keys with the right function using SharpKeys.
Great piece of software, just a newbee at this.

My Kanex bluetooth keyboard for Mac has a key in the lower left that I'd like to map to left controll. It has a square icon on it and the code is 00_100 which SharpKeys apparently doesn't know about. Could you please add this so I can remap it? Thanks
